Conceputal Design
During this stage of the design process, we’ll search for and examine all the existing service information from the relevant authorities to ensure we have everything we need. We’ll also investigate and plan the required outcomes of the development, including best-practice engineering solutions.
Digital Design
The next stage involves preparing the design of roads, drainage, water, sewer, and utility service locations, as well as lodging the preliminary design and supporting documentation with the relevant authorities. We’ll then finalise the design according to their feedback regarding the roads, drainage, water, and sewerage features.
Cost estimates for the development are then prepared, along with all the necessary sets of plans for construction, the specification Schedule of Quantities and the tender documentation.
Construction Management Services
As part of our construction management services, EDM Group will source tenders from proven competent contractors and liaise with the relevant service authorities for clients. We’ll further supervise the contract works to ensure the development is constructed as per the contract documents.
Our team will also receive, and access contractor claims for payment, provide auditing for quality assurance purposes and offer certification of works as fit for purpose (Engineers of Record).
