At the outset of any project, we’ll first establish the key requirements of what you want to achieve before preparing a program that outlines this in detail. We’ll also include a projected timeframe for the work, along with a preliminary financial analysis to determine the viability of the project.
During the planning stage, our team will carry out all formal enquiries to the relevant authorities to determine the availability of services and what exactly is required by these bodies. We’ll then prepare your services report, identifying any constraints, opportunities and viable alternatives as appropriate. The next step is to prepare a pre-development viability analysis.
Our project design stage involves engaging with specialist sub-consultants, if required, as well as co-ordinating with utility service authorities. A pre-construction viability analysis will also be prepared, and we’ll have regular client updates and meetings. We’ll also ensure consent to permit conditions.
The final stage is construction, and we’ll facilitate the pre-construction requirements of all the approving authorities for your convenience. Our team will further obtain the necessary releases from authorities, including an independent assessment of authority fees and charges. Throughout this stage, we’ll liaise, as always, with the client about the progress of the development and will check that compliance is met to ensure title releases.
Although a large number of project liaisons are achieved by phone, email, or letter, EDM Group considers it worthwhile to have regular formal meetings throughout the course of the development. This allows us to report on the project’s progress and to respond to any client inquiries.
